Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how Socialqueue (“we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use Socialqueue (the “Service”).
By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
1. Who We Are
Socialqueue is operated by Jun, an individual developer. The Service is a social-play queue manager designed for pickleball and similar doubles sports — helping hosts organise sessions with fair partner-rotation scheduling.

2. Information We Collect
a) Google Account Data (Host sign-in)
Hosts sign in using Google OAuth 2.0. When you authenticate with Google, we receive and store the following from your Google account:
- Email address — used as your account identifier and for access-control decisions
- Display name — shown within the app to identify your account
- Google user ID — used to link your account across sign-ins
We request only the minimum OAuth scopes needed: openid, email, and profile. We do not access your Google Drive, Gmail, Contacts, or any other Google service.
b) Session and Queue Data
Hosts create and manage sessions. This data is stored in association with your account:
- Session names, locations, and scheduled times
- Player names entered by the host (players do not create accounts)
- Game history and rotation statistics for the session
c) Player Photos (Optional)
Hosts may optionally upload a profile photo and/or paddle photo for players on their saved roster. Uploaded photos are stored on our server, compressed to under 200 KB, and linked only to that host's roster. Players do not upload photos themselves.
d) Technical / Log Data
Standard server logs may record IP addresses, browser user-agent strings, request timestamps, and HTTP status codes for security and diagnostic purposes. These logs are not used for tracking or advertising and are retained for a limited period.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To authenticate you and maintain your signed-in session
- To enforce access controls (optional host allow-list or sign-up restrictions configured by the site operator)
- To operate the queue, rotation algorithm, and session statistics you create
- To display player names and photos on the session board and roster
- To diagnose technical errors and maintain the security and integrity of the Service
We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to operating the Service.
4. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for their own purposes. Information may be disclosed only in the following limited circumstances:
- Google — authentication is handled by Google OAuth. Your use of Google sign-in is also subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
- Infrastructure providers — the Service is hosted on servers that process your data solely to provide hosting. These providers are bound by appropriate data processing terms.
- Legal obligation — if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of users or the public.
Public Board
Session boards are accessible via a unique, unguessable link shared by the host. Anyone with the link can view the live queue, court assignments, and session statistics — including player names. Hosts should inform participants that their name will be visible on the public board.
5. Data Retention and Deletion
We retain account and session data for as long as your account is active. Session data (games, queues, stats) is retained indefinitely so historical stats remain accessible via the board URL after a session ends.
If you wish to delete your account and associated data, please contact us at socialqueue@boonj.cc. We will delete your account data within 30 days of a verified request. Deleting your account does not delete player names or stats from sessions where other hosts were also managing the data.
6. Security
We take reasonable technical measures to protect your information, including:
- HTTPS encryption for all data in transit
- Server-side session management with signed, encrypted cookies
- Server-side image validation and size capping; no binaries stored in the database
- Path traversal guards on file-serving endpoints
No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security but will notify affected users of any breach as required by applicable law.
7. Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
8. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction you may have rights including the right to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you, or to restrict or object to certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at socialqueue@boonj.cc.
You may also revoke Socialqueue's access to your Google account at any time via Google Account Permissions. Revoking access will sign you out but will not delete data already stored.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. For significant changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify active users.
10. Contact Us
